Our aim is to learn about moving image as a medium for thinking. We will examine the mechanisms of experimental film, arthouse cinema and Hollywood cinema. We will go through some aspects and themes concerning thought and film introduced by the film directors, cognitive film theorists and philosophers. Also we will be watching lots of films.

Place: Sampo-sali (very big Sampo Hall), The Aalto-university School of Art and Design, Media Centre Lume, Hämeentie 135 C, 2nd floor. The screening will be hosted by yours truly, together with mollecular organisation.
